Enrollment and Tuition
Tongur Music operates on two terms. One Summer term in July and August and one 10-month academic year running from September through June, parallel to school year.
Enrollment reserves a weekly lesson time on a specific day of the week for the entire academic year. Because each academic year contains a different number of Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, etc., the total annual tuition may vary slightly depending on the student’s scheduled day of the week. Students taking the same lesson length may therefore have slightly different annual tuition amounts.
Tuition is calculated based on the total number of scheduled lesson weeks for the student’s specific day during the September–June academic year. It is then divided according to the selected payment schedule. Monthly payments remain consistent throughout the school year, regardless of the number of lesson weeks in a particular month.
Enrollment reserves the student’s weekly time slot for the entire academic year. Students are responsible for the tuition associated with their reserved time slot, even if they take additional personal vacation time or miss lessons for personal reasons. Regular tuition continues in order to maintain the reserved lesson time.
Students who enroll partway through the academic year will be responsible for the tuition applicable to the remaining months of the academic year.
Students are automatically enrolled from September through June unless other arrangements have been made with the studio.
Payment OptionsFamilies may choose one of the following payment schedules:
Annual payment: The full annual tuition is paid in September.
Two payments: The annual tuition is divided into two payments, with one payment due in September and the second payment due in February.
Monthly payments: The annual tuition is divided into equal monthly payments from September through June.
A $32 annual enrollment fee applies to each student. This fee may either be paid in full at the beginning of the academic year or distributed across the September–June payment schedule.

2-Pay full before August 1 - 4% discount.
3- Two equal payment due on September 1 and February 1.
4- Monthly equals payments due 1st of every month.
We accept cash, cheque or Interac e-transfer.
